Our beautiful Maxi girl is the embodiment of the GSD breed standard, .... a strong, agile, well muscled animal, poised, but when the occasion demands, eager and alert.  Full of life, she gives the impression, both at rest and in motion, of muscular fitness and nimbleness with that look of quality and nobility that is so very impressive in the GSD.  Her temperment is fearless, but not hostile, self-confident and loyal with a certain aloofness - willing to meet overtures with confidence without herself making them to strangers.

The night we brought her home, at 11 weeks old, she and Tasha both fell in the pool, not once but twice!  After that, understandably, she was a bit leery of that big blue hole in the ground.  The next morning, I thought I'd splash happily around on the top step!  You know-- "Look how much fun Mommy is having", kind of thing....  Her reaction forever endeared her to me....She very carefully crept up to the edge, grabbed my shirt and attempted to pull me out!  My wonderful "Maxi the Lifeguard Dog!"
