Meet Mick!
Such a sweet face!

Adopted from Mid-South Shepherd Rescue
birthday guess Sept 2006

Meet Mick. Mick is a sweet, playful, 8-9 month old male GSD pup. He was found by Mississippi animal control wandering in a heavily wooded area and brought to the shelter, who called Mid-South Shepherd Rescue for help with him.

Mick is a sweetheart of a boy! He gets along great with other dogs and loves people. The Rescue suspects Mick is going to be a big boy, as he is already quite large and has a lot of growing left to do.

Thank you to Mid-South Shepherd Rescue for entrusting this prescious boy to us!
Mick is a big boy already and still has a lot of growing to do!

A big friendly GSD - what a treasure! Mick - we love you already and haven't even met you yet!  (We pick him up in 2 days after he is neutered.)

Adopt Or Foster From An
Animal Shelter or Rescue.

It has been one of the most  rewarding experiences of my life.

Meet Mick
Pepper, the lady that runs the rescue says, "He was really timid when we first brought him in. He's opened up and is doing a lot better, but still does get a little intimidated in new situations. Going on the improvement he's made since we've had him, I expect this will eventually level out and not be a problem at all. (Delilah was like this when we first got her at this same age.)

He's very playful, and is a total Velcro boy. He's under feet constantly!  :-) Once he gets over the residual timidness from God knows what situation he came out of, I can definitely see the potential in him for therapy work."

More later, after Mick comes home to his forever family!

I encourage everyone to PLEASE look into adopting or fostering an animal in need from your local shelter or breed rescue.  It has been one of the most rewarding experience of my life.  To see a companion animal learn to trust again, to love again, after being neglected, abused, or simply unloved, is the most incredible sight.  Open your homes and hearts and you will be rewarded ten-fold, I promise.
