Sassy's Pedigree

When we got Sassy from Anlaufstelle Kennels, we thought we'd choose a name that reflected her beautiful black coat. But upon introducing her to Maxi & Tasha, what struck us immediately was that this pup definitely had attitude! She stood up to the older dogs with a Flash-o-Sass!  (So much for a dog named Shadow or Lucky.)

At 11 weeks, the little daredevil fell in the pool when she decided she could walk along the edge. Toweling her off, I'd gotten soaked too and had to change clothes.  Our little Sassy Girl attacked all my wet clothing, shaking each piece as it came off, then snuck into the bathroom, grabbed the end of the toilet paper and took off through the house! 

Sassy antics and a cuddly nature cause all that meet her to fall immediately in love.  She's full of fire, but at the same time, very affectionate.  She's "Sassy" alright - aka "The Devil Dog"!  Sassy makes us proud - at 10 months she earned her CGC and at 18 months she earned her Certified Therapy Dog title and started her training as a Search & Rescue Dog.
